The least we can say is that inflight Wifi is becoming more and more affordable…at least in the US.
Southwest recently announced its inflight wifi plans : it will be a $5 flat fare, regardless to the flight lenght, and the device used. It’s an introductory offer but it seems that the airline does not plan to raise it after the launching period.
Even cheaper, Google, that’s already offering free Wifi in 50 US airports, decided to offer free wifi to Delta, AirTran and Virgin America passengers. More precisely it’s a special offer that’s a part of the Chrome brower promotion campaign. This offer is limited and will start on the 20th of november to end on January the 2nd and proposed in collaboration with GoGo Inflight.
